This JLA satellite office recently opened shop in Jump City, and every hero worth his cape is leaping at the chance to become a bonafide member of the Justice League! But there's a twist: the rigorous aptitude tests you'll face are comprised entirely of, you guessed it... figure battles!
The new challenge mode sports two difficulty options, including an INTENSE MODE providing a super tough challenge (even for players with maxed out figs)! Winning these battles rewards Justice Points, used to rank up your standing with the Justice League itself, and even scoring you some tantalizing rewards (such as brand new unique figures that you can't find anywhere else!)
Oh and there's just one more thing... these aren't your plain ol' vanilla figure battles! You'll face off against a randomly generated team, and there's also this action: challenge battles center around various gameplay twists that throw some serious monkey wrenches all up in your grill. Check out three examples below:
MR. FREEZE'S SKILL CHILL: each ability goes into a long cooldown after being used, requiring the player to employ an adaptive ability selection strategy. Chill out!
CRAZY TOFU MODE: A crazy amount of tofu appears all throughout the battle, for both you and your opponent. Trust us, it's crazy. And delicious.HOT POTATO: A potato bomb is added to the end of one team's battle bar. Let the bar fill up to the potato bomb to bounce it over to your opponent's bar... when it explodes, it's lights out for the receiving figure!
That's just a sampling of the various twists you'll face as you test your mettle at... THE JUSTICE LEAGUE RECRUITMENT CENTERRRR!!! (/echo)
The Teeny Titans 1.1 Content Update also features a hefty new balance and tuning pass, to ensure that endgame battles are more challenging then ever!
